WILLIAM WILKIE COLLINS （1824-1889）， was an English novelist，playwright， and author of shortstories. He was hugely popularduring the Victorian era andwrote 30 novels， more than 60short stories， I4 plays， and overioo non-fiction pieces. His best-known works are The Woman inWhite， The Moonstone，Armadale and No Name.
